Hi Rich, [EDIT AS YOU SEE FIT] this is forwarded from former ammrl member, Mark Wall (can he get added?)

The short story... What's a good Windows based 1D and 2D NMR jcamp-dx viewer / processing program.
Hey Dave,
Me again. If you don't mind, I have a request. As I'm no longer a member, could you please post something to the AMMRL for me? Here's the situation:

Most of the runs we do are done in an automation mode and, as would be expected, during the runs the individual data sets are saved on the spectrometer according to a user id (actually a directory of their initials, sound familiar?). Apparently there is also a macro incorporated into the process where additionally a jcamp-dx file is created and placed on a remote disk when the chemists can examine and manipulate the data. We are currently using a program called Inspector (a Waters Corporation product) the view and lightly manipulate (phase, integrate, print, etc.) the data.

Here's the issue. The Inspector program doesn't have 2D capabilities. It works great for the 1D data sets but this constraint severly limits the chemists ability to look at something other than a 1H or a 13C. My supervisor wants to expand the chemists ability to examine and work up these remote data sets. Do you or anyone else you know of or have a recommendation for a Windows based viewer / processing program that has 2D jcamp-dx capabilities. Getting a 30+ user site license for XWinNMR or TopSpin is out of the question. I was hoping to get a few recommendations so that I could narrow my search down rather that mill through countless useless programs.

The short story... What's a good Windows based 1D and 2D NMR jcamp-dx viewer / processing program. Thanks for all of your help.

-Mark
