Chemagnetics CMX-II and FTS chiller?

Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone has used a FTS Systems chiller on a solids
instrument, particularly a Chemagnetics (CMX-II). The FTS chiller
requires a gas flow rate of 1 SCFM, but my Chemagnetics VT controller
wants 100-150 SCFH (= 1.67-2.5 SCFM). So, it does not look like my
controller can function on the gas output from the chiller. But, can
I just use the VT controller temperature readout to monitor the
temperature and use the FTS to actually control the temperature? I
am working with a static (non-spinning) probe. I am looking for a
convenient, flexible way to control temperatures below RT to -80 or
-100. Has anyone done this, or does the flow rate for the FTS
restrict its use to liquids work?
