Dear Spinlanders,

The construction group building beside NANUC is moving in a temporary
1400V transformer during construction. Unfortunately this will be
positioned about 30m to 40m from our 800MHz magnet here at NANUC. Does
anyone know if:

1.) large construction site transformers give off EM fields sufficient
to cause us concern for the performance or safety of our magnets?

2.) do they emit RF interference that we should be monitoring?

I'm basically wondering if you know before they move this equipment in
if we need to have them start looking at other possible locations?

Thanks,
Ryan &
Deryck
