HP7550A

I had a HP7550A attached to an AC250. The fan on the plotter died, and
was replaced. When we reattached it to the spectrometer, it refuses to
plot, giving "Error 15: Error in I/O transmission". Our backup 7550A
works just fine with the same power and data cables. My manual
(actually for a 7550 Plus) says that this error is due to problems with
the software or computer- not the plotter. Since the other plotter
works, I think the problem more likely to be the repaired plotter.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

thanks,
kas
