power supply for r2d2 magnets

Dear Colleagues,
We are having problems with a Varian r2d2 magnet. Surprisingly, arian
does not rent power supplies for the magnet. Indeed, they won't even sell
a supply (or charging sticks!). This is unfortunate indeed, given the
trouble-prone nature of these magnets. Any suggestions?
