Hi all,
It might be a good idea to confirm part numbers as well as ECL levels. I think
at some point they added additional functionality to the 2H-TX and changed
the part number. If you had a newer one and swapped in an older one it could
cause loss of some functions. You might be able to find the part number in the
BSMS tool, or just pull the board out and check the part number on the sticker.
Cheers,
Mike

P.S.
Our board is BSMS/2, ECL01. Not sure what version it could go up to, e.g. we
have SGU's ECL01, ECL06, and ECL07.
Many thanks to Martha for the prompt.
Regards,
Karel

Karel,
Please tell us your ECL level for the 2H-TX board.

Dear all,
Regarding the strange lock problem. many thanks to all those who responded
with suggestions. Still no closer to a resolution unfortunately.
I think it is the 2H-TX board, so anyone have such a board for a Avance 600
they are willing to part with ?
Also, I should apologize for the "2D" instead of saying "2H" or just "D" for
example which confused some people (deuterium or 2-dimensional ?), a bad habit
I picked up from a certain NMR program that I used to use a long time
ago.
Many thanks.
Regards,
Karel

Dear all,
We have a problem with lock/topshim. We can lock fine on 2D, lock is normal
and S/N is good. If we run topshim on 1H all is fine. However, topshim on
2D fails and we get an error message saying no signal at all. Measuring a 2D
spectrum only provides a very weak signal. If I try and measure the 2D pulse
length it looks really weird (pic attached), the signal intensity does not
seem to change at all, but the phase is totally erratic. Any ideas what
the problem is and how to fix it ?
Many thanks.
Regards,
Karel
