Dear all,

I hope you are all doing well after the past very rough year.

The reason I'm writing to the group is because the Department decided to place
a DART-MS spectrometer in the NMR lab, where we have 3 NMR spectrometers.

The DART-MS will be placed around 8-10 feet from our 500 MHz NMR. There is no more
room in the lab to place it further away. The 500 MHz magnet is a Varian/Agilent
ultra shielded magnet. Since I'm not familiar at all with the electronics of a
DART-MS, my concern beside the magnet, is also about electronic noise that can
interfere with the NMR measurements.

My question then is, if someone has experience having an MS instrument in the NMR
lab, how that works out. Pros and cons.

Hopefully I'm not the first one!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Carlos.
