Hi All,
I have been recently informed that there is a plan to renovate the bathroom
adjacent to my solid state NMR lab that houses a 300 MHz ultra wide bore
(98 mm) magnet. This may mean some heavy construction to make the restroom
ADA compliant. I am concerned about the vibrations from the construction.
The rooms are in the basement. I do not have air-donut vibration dampening
under the magnet. Anyone have experience to share? Should I be worried
about a vibration induced quench.
Thanks in advance for any help.
