Greetings all,
I would like to know what sign-up rules you may have for use of your NMR
instrumentation. I've seen in the archives a discussion about the use of
software regarding the sign-up process itself, but not on the root of this
issue- when (how far in advance for example) and for how long during which
part of the day? Do you consider 9 AM to 5 PM to be the heaviest use period
and therefore restrict user access to 15 minutes or what? This will be
dictated by the presence of a sample changer I'm sure, but do you use one?
There are many aspects to this issue- politics being a major one- and I
would like to see what rules/guidelines you all employ. I will be happy to
post a summary of the responses.
