Hi Bruker users,
I believe some of you may have changed your existing SGI to PC based system.
Going through Bruker seems to be very expensive. Other than transferring the
license and upgrading a CCU board, there is a charge for the computer and
some software which is prohibitively overpriced by $1,700.
Their claim is that similar computer and sometimes different versions of the
software does not work with xwinnmr.
I feel $1,700 is a huge premium for a standard computer and software even if
they have figured out the right combination of software & it is to be noted
that their premium does not even include on-site installation!!
I like to hear from those who have recently gone to PC based Bruker system.
Please let me know if there are really big hurdles if we try to install the
software and make it work with xwinnmr. Thank You.
