We are in the process of buying two new spectrometers
here at OSU; a widebore 300 for solids NMR and
a narrow bore 400 for liquids. My question is about
the liquids machine. We are negotiating for either
a Bruker DPX400 or a Varian Mercury 400. I would
like to hear about people's experiences with either
machines. I am familiar with the DPX, but have
never used the Mercury. I would love to hear from
anyone who has used both.
Of course both Bruker and Varian are saying, "I
can't believe they are trying to sell you ____
in place of our _____." Oh well.
Thanks for your help.
