The Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) seeks to fill the position of Manager/Director for its NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) facility. The facility (
https://pharmacy.unc.edu/nmr-facility/) primarily serves applications in small molecule NMR in medicinal and synthetic chemistry, as well as other applications in the pharmaceutical sciences. It is located in a recently designed NMR space and houses a 500 MHz and two 400 MHz spectrometers. The School is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and skilled spectroscopist with 4+ years experience maintaining research level NMR hardware. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the NMR instrumentation, training and assisting users, and helping in efforts to update instrumentation when appropriate.
