I have a question unrelated to any viruses (human or computer): is anyone using MS SyncToy for creating automated data backups, if yes, do you experience similar problems?
We (actually admin user) run SyncToy (in Echo mode) on Windows 10 workstations which control JEOL ECS-400 spectrometers. Every night SyncToy should check c:/users/username/documents/files/data for any new files and copy them to the NAS device called NMR-backup. This process generally works for thousands of files in many home directories. However, for certain files it fails with the "Access is denied" error. For example:
"Error: Unknown error. Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) Copying C:\Users\delta\Documents\files\data\1d_13c_spectrum-40.jdf to \\NMR-backup\e1delta\data\1d_13c_spectrum-40.jdf "
Any suggestions how to fix that?
