NMR colleagues,
It has come to my attention how difficult it is to use DuPont's Investment Recovery web site that has NMR probes offered for auction. Thanks to Ken Knott for pointing out to me that the probes listed do not have individual bid buttons that can be selected in order to make an offer on an individual probe. Also, I thought that the managers of the site were going to list all of the NMR probes under the category of NMR probes; silly me. So here is how the web site manager has the probes listed:
Under NMR probes is listed the 500 MHz cryo-probe system, item # 197184.
Under Laboratory Equipment, then under other Scientific and Laboratory Equipment, are three items all of which contain multiple probes:
Item 197364 is 400 MHz Varian/Agilent probes with 13 units offered.
Item 197323 is 500 MHz Bruker probes with 6 units offered.
Item 197329 is 500 MHz Varian solid state probes and accessories with 4 units offered.
So how does one go about making an offer for one or more of the probes listed when there is one "Make Offer" button for up to 13 different units?
Navigate to the item # that contains the probe in which you are interested, click the "Make Offer" button, fill in the price that you are offering and the number of units (1 or >1) on which you are bidding, and then in the "Other Message" block give the description and part number of the item(s) you are bidding on.
Thank you for putting up with the difficulties of using this site.
Tom
