Dear colleagues:

Please pass around to whoever might have an interest. Thank you.

A postdoctoral position is open at the Department of Polymer Science &
Engineering, University of Massachusetts Amherst. The objective of the
study will be using solid-state NMR techniques to understand the
morphology and molecular dynamics of polymers as well as using these
microscopic behaviors to interpret materials’ properties under
high-strain-rate situations. The research will involve ample
collaborations with Army research organizations. A Ph.D. training on
solid-state NMR is required, and experience with polymers preferred.
The opening is for one year and renewable contingent on performance.
