Dear NMR-metabolomics Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that Registration, Housing and Abstract Submission are now open for the 8th Annual Meeting of the Metabolomics Society. The conference is the official meeting of the Metabolomics Society in cooperation with the Plant Metabolomics Platform. The meeting will bring together all the major international organizations involved in human, plant, microbial, animal and environmental metabolomics. The meeting will be held from June 25th - June 28th, 2012 at the Wardman Park Marriott in Washington D.C. Full details are available at the conference web site: http://www.metabolomics2012.org.
Keynote speakers include Frank J. Gonzalez (Kick-off Plenary Speaker; Laboratory of Metabolism, Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health), Mark R. Viant (Professor of Metabolomics, School of Biosciences, University of Birmingham, UK), Rasmus Bro (Professor, Copenhagen University, Faculty of Life Sciences) and Alisdair Fernie (Research Group Leader, Central Metabolism, Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology).
Early registration ends on April 1st, along with associated discounts, and normal registration runs until May 13th, 2012. After that, registration may be obtained at the Conference at the on-site registration rates. Abstracts (oral and poster) are accepted until April 1st, 2012.
