AMMRL: summary of Inova tune meter

Thanks to those who replied: Ed, Tom, Rich, Martha, Dan, Hsin, and Dejian.

My tune meter is working again. I suspect something was just loose – the tune port no longer wobbles after I tightened it up. However, I'm also eating some humble pie. During my troubleshooting, I seem to have bumped the attenuation/sensitivity switch, and at some point I seem to have forgotten how to tell a 0 from a 9.

Here are all the suggestions I received, in the hope that they someday help someone else:

- make sure a good "su" was issued and that it's all set up correctly
- make sure the attenuator hasn't been changed
- check the dual mixer and/or tuning bridge/directional coupler
- one person had a burned resistor inside the Mini-Circuits module in the tune box
- use a scope to make sure there's signal coming from the tune port, and that it changes with the attenuator setting. Surprisingly, Agilent never suggested checking this.
