Does anyone have an adakos scsi manual (p/n Z30705) that I
could look at? My users would rather not wait 2-3 weeks for
delivery :).
WARNING - Do Not Read *any* further unless you like Aspect 3000 trivia.
The problem started during a reboot after an nmrlink transfer:
[stop][clear][disk] => Enter Device Code:
We didn't know that devices had codes,,,,
[stop][clear][floppy] >run adakos.scsi
How many physical units: 1
=> Disk Drive 1 not connected status 00003162
[stop][clear][floppy] >run ncrtest (twinex for scsi)
ncr(2): u 0<Return>
ncr(0): INQ => tells me that I've got a Seagate ST51080N 0913
ncr(0): wpm 2
ncr(0): cf or acf
ncr(0): tall, t1, t2, t3, and t4 seem to run ok
,,,but adakos scsi still can't connect and booting needs a device code
for 20 points, what is status 00003162
for 10 points, should we be using adacos.scsi p/n 35540 vs 931118.A
for 50 points, what do we need to do to boot again?
for 15 points, any useful information
