Sebastien,

Thank you for your reply.

Your opion are worth considering but I'm only a doctoral student here to be
graduated next year and I don't know whether I could find enough time learning
other software and I have to also take into count the fact that no other guys
here using other analysis software than Felix. The only one who using Sparky
instead of Felix leaves here last month.

Here I would like to have more opions from you:
1. How much time will it cost to learn NMRView from the beginning till I can
use it to analysis spectra competently?
A NMRView 4.1.2 for Linux is already installed but I have no knowledge of
Tcl/Tk. Actually I have dipped into the documentation of NMRView and find a
little bit lost at the beginning. I feel the documentation for NMRView 4.1 is
not well prepared, at least for a all-green beginner, compared with Felix
Tutorials.

2. What's your opion on comparision of Sparky and NMRView?
The one once using Sparky here told me Sparky is written in Python, a neat and
well-designed OOP scripting language, while Tcl has evolved for a long time
and was not well-designed at the beginning compared to Python. And acutually I
found a bug in the changing the contour level of the spectra display in
version 4.1.2 in a first try. Maybe that's a bug in Tk but it did disppoint
me.
The truth so far as I know is that NMRView has a maillist while Sparky not.

Regards,

Tong
