I just now built an AlmaLinux 8.6 box with the intention of migrating
from a really old PC hardware of my existing AV-II system. Haven't done
the TS3.2 install yet and will be glad to share my experience in making this
control the spectrometer. Thank you, David, for the pointers in the meantime,
especially about the two packages to make TS3.2 work.
With my CentOS 7 and TS1.3 combination, the bruker repo provides a Systemd unit
file called topspin-network.service. This can be configured to rename the modern
NIC names to the traditional eth0 and eth1 that flexlm license manager needs.
This has been working fine for me, so far.
