I have 500MH NMR Avance III HD, TopSpin 3.2. I have a professor who wants to do variable temperature from zero degree to 80 degree C on broad band probe overnight using IconNMR. He doesn't want to sit there and wait for the temperature to stabilize. He wants to load a bunch of samples, and set variable temperature for all the samples and walk away. Personally, I don't think he should walk away from spectrometer if he is changing temperature. Anyway, I would like to know if you allow user to walk away and what is your facility policy on that? I control temp. and air flow from TopSpin, how about IconNMR? Any suggestions?
