Hi all,
Been having fun learning TopSpin and IconNMR with a new 400 we've just
gotten. Of course, there is some real head scratching. But mostly,
it's been a good experience.
I'm hoping AMMRL can assist in avoiding the reinvented-the-wheel
phenomenon, or more specifically, assist in the
how-to-tweak-IconNMR's-accounting area. We're running CentOS v5.8 and
TopSpin v3.1 pl5. We've got a couple hundred users, each with their own
account under CentOS, and therefore within Icon (using LDAP for that;
works great). Bruker's accounting function in Icon is working,
dutifully filling in the conf/instr/spect/inmrusers/Inmracct.brief and
.full files for each experiment that runs. From this, we can use Icon's
Accounting features to generate reports per user or originator
(supervisor) item. But these reports are lengthy, filling 1/3 to 1/2
page per user/supervisor. What we really want is a single row per user,
which could then be imported into a spreadsheet. I'm hoping one of you
might already have something that we could adapt; a perl or sed script?
