Our previous business with BOC (who was playing games with order
quantities) was transferred (sold?) to Matheson Tri-gas. They ship
exactly the quantity ordered in beautifully maintained dewers. Their
phone is (866) 642-5659.

You guys in the USA are lucky!
In Australia BOC behaves the same way but we no longer have Praxair.
When you order from BOC and ask for a 60L pressure builder dewar you
might get a 100L with no pressure builder and broken O-rings. If you
get a dewar with a pressure builder there is only a 50/50 chance it will
be operational.
Praxair had spare O-rings on their dewars but I have tried for 3 years
to get BOC to do this without success.
