Dear AMMRLers:
Would you mind to recommend some of the N15 chemical shift standards (either
internal or external) to me that will work in organic solvents, such as
CDCl3, etc. Better that it will work in aqueous solution as well.
I tried to find a N15 chemical shift reference sample, either internal
reference standard or external one. I looked for the archives in AMMRL
database, but I could not find the obvious answers. I am working on some N15
2D NMR (HSQC, HMBC) works in deuterium chloroform (CDCl3), deuterium water
(D2O) and deuterium DMSO and possibly other organic solvents. Some of the
literatures recommended nitromethane, nitric acid or liquid ammonia or other
forms of ammonium. It seems they are not quite soluble in organic solvent,
such as CDCl3. Liquid ammonia is volatile if it is not sealed. I am tried to
work on formamide and N,N-dimethylformamide, acetamide, but formamide,
acetamide is not soluble in CDCl3, and NNDFA is not detectable in HSQC.
