Hi, all,
Our spectroscopy is Varian Inova 400. The MAS speed controller is
Chemagnetic speed controller.
Our speed controller has some problem. It stops spinning by itself
frequently. When we run the 2.5 mm or 7.5 mm MAS probe, it starts run at the
setting speed for a few hours, then suddenly stops. We don not know why it
happens. After it stops, all the green lights are on, and no speed reading
displays. The speed display screen is dark. It is just frozen there. Some
time when we shutdown all the console and reboot it, it works again. Now it
is frozen there, even we reboot the whole spectroscopy.
We can not switch the auto model to manual mode. I tried to rotate the
bearing gas and driving gas to the appropriate values. It still can not
work.
Has anyone else encountered this problem on CMX MAS controller? If so, how
was it fixed?
