Can you supply the contents of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
as well as /etc/resolv.conf ?

ALso, are you using iptables or ipchains? Check it with
   /sbin/service ipchains status
   OR service iptables status

If they are on, you might want to supply the contents of /etc/sysconfig/ip*
