If all you want to do is tune probes, you do not really need a network
analyzer. Presuming you are tuning probes to Z = 50 + 0 j, a spectrum
analyzer with tracking generator and a return-loss bridge (without detector)
or 4-port hybrid junction should work just fine. Check out the Hameg
HM-5014, at a cost of just over $3,000.
