Hello again fellow resonators,
Thanks to all who replied to my request for experience moving magnets.
The consensus was that moving 300's is pretty easy; some have even done
it energized. For 400's or higher, they can be moved cold but not
energized if it is done with extreme care. For any magnet that has been
up for a long time, like our 15 year old 400, the consensus was that the
seals should be changed, so you may as well move it warm and even with
the shipping braces in place.
