DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY
University of Nebraska-Lincoln The UNL Department of Chemistry is seeking an
individual to support research and teaching associated with departmental
instrumentation, including numerous high field NMR spectrometers, FT-IR's,
GC/MS, UV-vis and AA. The Director will oversee the facility, train/assist
users with design/implementation of experiments, supervise routine
maintenance, coordinate instrumentation proposals and arrange for spectra
acquisition from campus and industry. Master's in chemistry, biochemistry
or biophysics plus three years relevant experience. Ph.D. preferred. Must
have experience in modern multidimensional and heteronuclear NMR methods.
Excellent written/verbal and interpersonal communication skills essential.
