Cryogen amount for 600 installation

Hello Friends,
We are installing a 600/54 Ultrashield Magnex magnet in our Pharmacy
department. Bruker's estimate of the volume of lHe required is 1100 liters
for a normal installation. My records for a similar installation two years
ago indicate we used 450 liters for the initial cool-down and 100 liters
after energizing. We do have an on-campus cryogenics facility so getting
more lHe in the event of a quench is not a multiday problem.
If you have recently installed one of these magnets I would be interested
in the volume of lHe required. Also, are quenches on initial energization
of these newer magnets as standard as they seem to be on older 500 MHz
systems?
        Thanks for your assistance,
                Kenner
