I am ready to bring our JEOL 270 on-line for general use and need to setup
the accounting on the SGI O2 (Irix 6.5) before I do that.
My problem is that the accounting software was not loaded on the machine.
I have no media and don't know what patch level the Irix 6.5 is.
One option is to upgrade to the most current Irix and load the accounting
software then. The other is to find a third party unix based accounting
software package.
Does anyone use software other than the Irix unix accounting software on
their SGI's? and can that software keep track of the logon time?
