I have been playing with Alma9 and have gotten VnmrJ 4.2, Topspin 4.3, and
3.6.5 to all load with minimal effort. Missed a few packages with the standard
workstation install (add office, legacy, system tools packages). I have not
hooked up to a console yet to see if everything is okay or not yet, just been
checking it out. We use Kerberos to authenticate users and passwords with the
University. Alma 9 does this differently with sssd and I am having issues with
our IT here getting the info I need to fully implement this. So not really an
Alma issue but a local IT hold up otherwise we would already be using it.
