AMMRL: preventive maintenance

Hi there, my PUI institution finally came through with more realistic support
for NMR facility staff (who all have full time teaching appointments), so
I now have time to do overdue maintenance. Problem is, I'm not entirely
sure what I should be doing. I got a PM quote from Bruker (to support my
bid for institutional funding of facility staff) but Bruker won't tell me
what they do during annual PM.

We have an Avance III 400 MHz with Nanobay console. I know to vacuum the grill
and change the console air filter annually and to check fans ~monthly when
shims are built. We have a BACS-60 that is no longer supported, but I
think I know what needs to be done for that. We use house compressed air
that comes through an air dryer with filters, so I know filters need to be
changed. My main questions concern things like software, firmware, PW90 or
other parameters, whether I should log specs like field or He boil-off rate,
and anything else that isn't on my radar yet.

If folks are willing to share what they do during annual/routine maintenance
or make suggestions about what to check/log/clean/replace/update (or if this
info is in the archives somewhere), I would welcome feedback on those points.

Thanks.
