I would like some advice on how people are handling their annual service on
their Prodigy untils. The first year the service was performed by Bruker
ran about $10K and amounted to swapping O-rings and some similar seals in
the roughing pump. The next year they replaced the entire sled containing
both the rough and turbo pumps. This also ran about $10K.
How many of you are doing these services yourselves and are you able to
obtain parts from Bruker?
For those of you who are having the service performed by Bruker, are they
notifying you when you are due for maintenance service? Or are you having
to contact them?
