AMMRL: Ghost peaks

Dearest AMMRL colleagues,

Our two Varian Inova 500MHz systems have an issue I've not observed before: Proton spectra have spikes around strong peaks (the distance between two spikes is 120Hz, please see attachment). It is very interesting that spikes appear around 10:00AM and disappear around 6:00PM every day. Spectra taken during the weekend have no spikes. The Varian Inova 300MHz at the same room doesn’t has this problem.

Do you think the power supply could be the cause? I was told that our current power is not “clear”, could a UPS help?

Thanks
