Dear All The wall (has been cut for 4' high) and floor (will install carpet) in our NMR room which houses non-shielded 800, 750 and 600 NMR magnets needs to be repaired.  The contractor asked us to shut down these magnets during construction for safety reason. This is time and money consuming. The basic information for NMR room is the strongest magnet fields are 45, 25 and 10 gauss close to the wall for each magnet. I very appreciate if anyone can share your experience for the construction with energized magnets or give me recommendation which company can make this repairing with active magnets. Thanks, Tianzhi Wang NMR manager UTMB
