I am currently researching the magnetic susceptibility of polymer
composites used in NMR applications.

I am very interested in the polymer makeup and how it effects the
susceptability characteristics individual to each material.

Doty Scientific manufactures these materials, however they refer one back
to the Wilmad site. I have looked at the Wilmad site and noticed that
they only specify the general names of the polymer. For instance: Ultem
or PPS.

When I have checked for further information concerning these materials, I
have found many different grades with differing properties.

Is it possible for anyone to help me clarify the polymers that are used in
these plugs?? In addition, where is the best source of information
concerning exact susceptibility values for any polymeric material? I would
like to search for matching sus. values for different solvent systems.

Thanks for your time
