Re: unix file names

Joseph,

In some unices (unixes?) the double-quotes ("") around the offending
file may work, as suggested by some. On others (namely, FreeBSD, LINUX,
and SGI) they won't. Your message prompted me to try, and now I have
files that have a little "-" dangling in front of them that I cannot get
rid off! Anyway, I was able to delete them with the GUI file manager on
the SGI and on the Apple (FreeBSD). Still have to figure out how to do
it on the LINUX machine...
