Z0 shim

Hi all,
Nappy New year. My question is to those who have experience with high field
magnets.

Our new 500 MHz magnet drifts with the rate 8 Hz/hr (Oxford magnet; room
temp. matrix shim system - 40 shims; JEOL Eclipse+500). Originally Z0 shim
was close to zero. Now (6 months later), it is almost 40,000 Hz. What is
the limit? What should we do when we approach it? Should we recharge the
cryoshims on the periodic basis? Do all 500 MHz magnets require recharging?
How often?

Thank you.

Alex
