I've just found a printout of your email message from Jan 07, 1998 to
ammrl@wwitch.unl.edu on my desk. I think you are referring to the FRED
(Full Reduction of Entire Datasets) program. I wrote the software as
part of my Ph.D. thesis here at the University of Utah. With NIH
funding, I extended the software to analyze all major 2D (and
recently 3D) NMR spectra. An about 3-year-old (2D INADEQUATE only)
version of this software is commercially available from Varian
Associates (product name "FRED"). If you have further questions (or
are interesting in marketing newer version of the software), please
let me know.
