Seems like if 13C is there, the rcvr is okay.
Could be on the xmtr side.
If your 1H amp has gone bad, you can still get nmr form the low power pulse.
But your 90 might be 400 us.
Increase your 90 to 200us and see if the signal increases...

Subject: AMMRL: Receiver Board for Mercury-Plus 400

Last October I sent a post about bad data points in 13C data on our Mercury-Plus 400. The problem was occurring only on the imaginary part of the FID, and it happened more often at higher values of receiver gain. Now this has all changed: the 13C is fine, but the 1H barely gives any data at all. With very strong samples (like H2O) we can see an FID. So it seems like we have a problem with the receiver board.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a receiver board? I'm pretty sure Agilent won't have one, and MR Resources has not responded to my query. Ideally, someone may be retiring a Mercury Plus console and I can get some parts! If anyone has a suggestion about what components may be bad in the board, we could try replacing them.

Thanks,

Neil
