Dear AMMRLers,
Looking to fill up our web pages with useless facts, we are
speculating that our town has the highest Hz per capita (76796) in the
U.S. Our calculation is based on the sum of 14 working or delivered (
on the loading dock) NMR magnets in university and government labs, and
the 2000 U.S census data (quickfacts.census.gov) for Athens-Clarke
county,
the smallest defined government unit containing these magnets. We
welcome any challengers that can back their claims, otherwise we will
post this on our site, with lots of exclamation marks!!!!!
The rules: only research spectrometers and imaging magnets (otherwise
we have to go searching around the hospitals), and no future orders.
If you can prove you're in a hamlet, pop. 7 - you win!.
