Hello:

I exported a data directory on a Linux PC (Red Hat 7.1)
to a SGI computer as an NFS. After I mounted the
NFS disk on the SGI computer (IRIX 6.5), I can see all the data in
a UNIX window, but I could not read the data in XWINNMR.

Here is what I did within XWINNMR on the SGI computer:
1) Choose File->Search to open the Portfolio Editor,
2) Then choose Edit->Edit Directory List.
3) Enter the NFS disk name and click Add, then click Apply.
After I clicked the Apply button, I saw the following error message
in the unix console window:

WARNING: nfs3_fid: filehandle larger than file ID data area.

And now the xwinnmr window is locked.
Would you please tell me what should I do?

Thanks,

Weixing Zhang
