I know it is possible to find NMR and MRI processing softwares on the web or
commercially. However, none seems to be capable of analyzing both kinds of
data. It is either dedicated toward spectroscopy or imaging. Here are my
questions:
1) Do you know ONE software package that can do both and can provide a good
analytical tool of raw NMR and MRI data? If yes, what are the file formats
recognized by the program?
2) IDL is a programming language that seems to be very powerful. But, I do
not know if it is suitable and worth to spend time and effort developing a
program to analyze NMR data using this package. Do you have some experience
with it? Is it easy to use? Easy to program? Can you modify your program
easily in order to be compatible with your current research work?
3) If you deal with both types of data, what kind of programs do you use?
Are they developed in-house or are they commercial?
I thank you very much for all your comments and suggestions.
Sincerely,
Paul Cornillon.
