We are having trouble with our Avance-AV.
The signal is just too weak if I try a wobb or even 90%H2O even with the receiver gain on max.
This is the second time that this has happened. After the first time, I powered down the console to inspect boards etc. And then when I powered everything back on it started working magically for a couple of weeks. So, now it is down again and I want more data to diagnose the problem. UniTool looks like a very good tool, but I can not get it to work. When I run ./UniTool and use the default answers to the questions I get the errors “during sbsb_configure” “cannot get instrument name” “cannot open curinst file”. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I have found very little information on how to use UniTool.
I am wondering if our problem is related to temperature and so wanted to monitor the temperature of the SGU units.
I would appreciate any and all suggestions.
