Hi all,
On behalf of my colleague, reaching out to crowdsource your suggestions, please:
We have recently installed a helium recycling system and are systematically
checking our magnets for leaks.
We are losing a lot of helium from the top of one of the towers of an Oxford
AS500 magnet (the tower without helium level probe). Probably all the boiloff
escapes this way.
Does anyone have any experience with the likely source and cure? Can we do
this with minimal risk of quench / icing?
Thanks
Richard Lewis
