All,

We just decommissioned a 300MHz Avance Bruker instrument. It includes a 120 sample BACS autosampler (1st gen) and a number of other attachments/probes. Most parts are ~30 years old, but the spectrometer was revamped in the late 90's. Everything was working before we decommissioned it. Is anyone interested in this equipment? Was thinking it might be interesting to someone for spare parts, etc.

Even if you aren't interested in it for parts, can anyone share stories with me about how they get rid of old magnets/spectrometers? There's a lot of good electronics and components that still work on this thing.

Email me at surface_at_ppg.com<mailto:surface_at_ppg.com> if you are interested or have any additional questions about parts/details-or if you have advice you'd like to share. I can put together a summary for everyone on what I hear back, if interested.

FYI, we will probably want to only transfer as an entire unit-decommissioned magnet and all-don't have time to separate into different parts and ship to different people.

Thanks,

-Andy
