A colleague in our medical school here, in St. Louis, alerted me to
this equipment:

General Electric (GN-300) Omega NMR console

They are willing to give away the console to anybody who is interested
in the equipment (and have the means to pick it up). A school/college
is preferred, but any takers would be welcome.

I know little or nothing about it, other than the fact that it was
functioning prior to a magnet quench in 2007. There's an apparently
complete set of manuals, including some wiring diagrams available. My
brief look into these suggests that this is a 2-channel system with
proton and X amps, but I'm unsure of the power levels of these.

The people giving up the system are not particularly
hardware-oriented, and my role is to just help them connect with
someone who might be interested in taking it off their hands. Please
feel free to drop me an email, if interested.
