Hi all,
Can some one out there get me some useful tips, cautions etc. on
running a 183 W solution NMR? I understand the relative sensitivity is
pretty low. We have a 400 MHz NMR instrument with 10 mm low frequency probe
(JEOL GSX 400). I think at this magnetic field the resonance frequency for
W will be around 16 MHz and the relative abundance is around 14%. The probe
mentioned ab0ve covers this region. What type of relaxation delay can be
used? Typically for standard sample like sodium tungstate (Saturated D2O
solution) how many transients are needed? I tried for this std sample with
10 sec delay, 5000 transients, a guess value of pulse width (15 micro sec)
and 7000 ppm spectral width. I am getting many broad peaks spreading around
6000 ppm for this std sample. I feel some thing is wrong.
Thanking you in advance
