Greetings--
I want to replace the monitors on our SGI O2 and SGI Indy with LCD
monitors(18"-20"); we are moving to a smaller building which puts our
monitors too close to the magnets. SGI says no way with the Indy and get
an adapter for the O2 and buy our monitor for $2599. I recall seeing some
discussion on this topic not long ago; I went through the archives but could
not find what I needed. This may be aimed more at the Bruker folks.
Has anyone gone to third party sources for these large monitors? What about
the video cards needed? Cable and/or plug adapters needed? Results of your
efforts?
